PLAY IS LEARNING

Learning is surviving mechanisme for your child, your child percieve play as learning and your child naturally learns best in playing. When your child plays, the brain shapes through the interactions with the environment.

The areas off the motor skills, perceptual understanding, cognitive understanding, social and emotional areas of the brain get connected. The brain operates from the principles of ”use-it-or-lose-it”, that is to say neurons connect together and form strong connections. The complexity of the brain increases especially when the child plays for a long period of time.

Doman adds that children’s brain activity is at its peak at birth, and get decreased to the half at the 3 years of age, and decreases further to the half at the 6th years of age. The neurons that don’t get used shrink and die.
